Day Route Driver

Core-Mark is hiring a full-time Day Route Driver based in West Brownsville, Fayette County — a hands-on transportation opportunity at one of North America's leading convenience distribution companies.

About the Role

As a Day Route Driver on Core-Mark's Transportation & Logistics team, you'll be the face of the company for convenience retail customers across your assigned territory. Operating during daytime hours, you'll manage deliveries of food, beverage, and tobacco products to established retail accounts — keeping shelves stocked and customers satisfied on every run out of West Brownsville.

What You'll Do

• Execute timely, accurate deliveries of food, beverage, and tobacco products to convenience retail accounts along a set daily route
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to uphold fleet safety standards
• Safely load and unload product at each stop using proper handling techniques
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and applicable traffic laws throughout every shift
• Verify order accuracy and obtain delivery confirmations or signatures from store personnel
• Maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with retail customers at each location
• Complete delivery logs, route documentation, and required paperwork accurately
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, route irregularities, or delivery discrepancies to dispatch in a timely manner

What We're Looking For

• A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class you'll operate
• A clean driving record and a genuine commitment to road and workplace safety
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift, carry, and unload product throughout the shift
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to follow a structured route schedule independently
• High attention to order accuracy and detail at each delivery stop
• Previous experience in route driving, distribution, or delivery is preferred
• Clear communication skills and a customer-first attitude
