This is a project-based contract role — positions are not permanent, and work is assigned on a per-project basis. Role Overview You'll create realistic customer service scenarios focused on financial services and banking contexts, then evaluate how AI systems respond to those scenarios. Your work helps improve how AI handles complex customer interactions involving payments, accounts, fraud, and policy interpretation. Each project is different, but your core contribution is building the training materials and assessment frameworks that teach AI systems to communicate with clarity, empathy, and accuracy. What You'll Do Author customer service scenarios involving billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and fee policy questions — ensuring that AI understands the difference between genuine service requests and potential fraud indicators Develop test cases for payment automation and account setup, including realistic error conditions, boundary cases, and procedural safeguards Create scenarios for fraud detection and dispute handling, testing how AI recognises red flags, gathers necessary information, and escalates appropriately Design account management scenarios including closures and service terminations, verifying AI applies retention logic and account checks correctly Evaluate AI responses for both technical correctness and quality of communication — assessing emotional awareness, appropriate tone for the communication channel, and whether explanations are clear and trustworthy What You Bring 2+ years of hands-on experience in customer service, banking, financial services, or a closely related role A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Psychology, Marketing, or equivalent field Strong fluency in English — minimum C1 level — with excellent written communication Solid grasp of customer service principles and the ability to assess communication quality Ability to read policy documents, fee schedules, and procedural guidelines, and apply them correctly to specific customer situations Prior experience as a QA analyst, call-centre trainer, conversation designer, or similar role is a significant plus Why Join Mindrift Mindrift connects specialists like you with meaningful, short-term AI training projects from major technology companies.
