Key Responsibilities Position Zuora's payments capabilities as the strategic choice for enterprise customers seeking payment modernization Conduct detailed discovery and architecture reviews focused on payment gateways, authorization strategies, and global payment acceptance Design end-to-end payment solutions that span multiple providers, processors, and payment methods while addressing customer scalability needs Deliver technical deep-dives, executive presentations, and hands-on workshops tailored to different stakeholder groups Educate customers on payment orchestration, intelligent routing, tokenization, and payment resilience strategies Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships teams to bring customer requirements into product development Build reusable architectures, reference implementations, and technical resources that scale payments expertise across the organization Lead complex RFPs, proof-of-concepts, and enterprise evaluations to ensure successful customer outcomes Qualifications Required: 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, or Solutions Architecture within enterprise software Demonstrated expertise in enterprise payments through direct experience at a Payment Service Provider, payment gateway, payment orchestration platform, or comparable payments technology organization Strong grasp of the global payments ecosystem, including gateways, acquirers, processors, card networks, digital wallets, and emerging payment methods Proven ability to design and discuss complex payment architectures for high-volume enterprise customers Knowledge of payment optimization techniques such as intelligent routing, authorization optimization, and payment recovery Comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, and modern integration patterns Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impact Preferred: Background supporting multinational enterprises across diverse industries Familiarity with subscription and recurring billing business models Experience integrating payment…
