Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a full-time Customer Service Rep (CRL) in Dallas, Texas, to be the dependable first point of contact for customers relying on our architectural glass and building products.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Rep (CRL) based on-site in Dallas, Texas, you will guide customers through orders, answer product questions, and keep every interaction smooth from first call to final delivery. This full-time position sits at the heart of how Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope serves the architects, contractors, and builders who depend on us for the materials that shape apartments, hospitals, stadiums, universities, and retail spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with accuracy, courtesy, and a sense of urgency.
- Enter, track, and update orders for architectural glass and building products throughout the fulfillment process.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, and sales teams to resolve questions and keep commitments on schedule.
- Troubleshoot order issues, follow up on open items, and communicate proactively about timelines.
- Maintain clear, organized records of customer interactions and account activity.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service, order management, or related support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Comfort working with order-entry systems, email, and standard office software.
- Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Reliable, collaborative, and able to work on-site in Dallas, Texas.
