About the Role As a Customer Service- Commercial Lines (P&C) team member, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact for a high volume of calls, emails, and chats tied to workers' compensation accounts. You'll guide customers and agents through billing, renewals, audits, cancellations, and account maintenance while keeping accuracy, compliance, and service quality front and center throughout the full policy lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Manage incoming calls, emails, and chats covering policy documents, endorsements, billing questions, renewal reviews, cancellations, and reinstatements. Coordinate complex billing matters, payroll adjustments, audit payment plans, loss runs, and experience modification factors. Process and maintain workers' compensation policies—new business, renewals, voluntary, and assigned risk—verifying payroll, classifications, billing setup, and endorsements. Direct claims-related inquiries to the appropriate adjusters and resources, documenting guidance provided. Keep compliant, audit-ready records and follow up on outstanding items across teams to meet established timelines. Spot recurring issues or process gaps and escalate them to support continuous improvement. Qualifications 3–5 years of progressive experience in the workers' compensation insurance industry. Commercial Lines experience is required. Call center or high-volume customer service background is a plus, including chat-based support. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and management systems such as ImageRight or comparable platforms. Comfort operating standard office equipment such as scanners, copiers, and calculators.
