About the Role
As the Custodial Coordinator at Frenship Independent School District in the US, you will guide the day-to-day delivery of custodial services from the Central Distribution Center and Custodial Department. This is an exempt, 260-day position reporting to the Director of Facilities, ideal for an organized leader who takes pride in keeping learning environments spotless and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise district-wide custodial services across schools and support facilities.
- Establish cleaning standards, schedules, and routines that keep campuses sanitary and safe.
- Manage custodial supplies, equipment, and inventory through the Central Distribution Center.
- Train, support, and evaluate custodial staff to promote consistent, high-quality work.
- Partner with the Director of Facilities on planning, projects, and operational improvements.
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines throughout the district.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in custodial, janitorial, or facilities operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Working knowledge of cleaning methods, products, equipment, and safety practices.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and team-leadership abilities.
- Capacity to fulfill the requirements of a 260-day, exempt position.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating staff and collaborating with district leadership.
