This full-time role supports in-person collaboration at least three days each week as teams advance responsible growth in crypto offerings. What This Role Involves As a Crypto Risk Senior Specialist at Robinhood, you will reinforce the Crypto Risk group's efforts to safeguard customers and the firm by supporting execution of the broader risk management framework. You will work directly with Crypto Risk leaders to monitor exposures, evaluate them systematically, and deliver clear reporting that enables safe scaling of products, operations, and platforms while maintaining sound controls and strong end-user experiences. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Carry out initial and recurring Risk and Control Self-Assessments across operational workflows, pinpointing control shortfalls and proposing practical improvements. Review both new and established crypto products, features, and process shifts for their risk and control implications, then supply recommendations for reduction measures. Generate risk analyses and materials for oversight meetings, including committee packets and items that require elevation. Track, adjust, and refresh key risk indicators on an ongoing basis while designing fresh indicators that match evolving products, activities, and exposures. Direct the complete issue resolution cycle—from discovery and ranking through remediation progress and formal closure—ensuring appropriate handling and escalation paths. Collaborate closely with crypto operations, compliance, engineering, and enterprise risk partners to sustain a unified perspective on risks throughout the organization. Who We're Looking For At least four years of background in risk management, financial services, or crypto or fintech operational environments. Solid command of risk management policies and established methodologies. Proven ability to build and oversee key risk indicators and to complete Risk and Control Self-Assessments or similar evaluation exercises. Clear written and spoken communication skills that allow effective sharing of risk observations with varied internal audiences. Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as LogicGate or comparable systems, plus experience working with risk data management tools.
