About the Role

This direct-hire Crown Forklift Mechanic position is based out of Nashville, Tennessee, and supports operations across Hendersonville and Sumner County. As a Crown brand specialist, you will diagnose, service, and repair material-handling equipment while also stepping into a technician-trainer capacity. The role offers a high degree of independence, allowing you to manage your own workload while remaining a valued member of a larger, collaborative team. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Crown forklifts and related material-handling vehicles
• Service and rebuild transmission systems and other core mechanical components
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running safely and reliably
• Train and mentor other technicians on Crown brand servicing and best practices
• Work independently to plan, prioritize, and complete repair assignments

Qualifications

• Proven, hands-on experience working specifically with the Crown forklift brand
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle and transmission repair
• Ability to meet rigorous technical and quality standards
• Capacity to work autonomously while collaborating within a team environment
• Willingness to share knowledge and train fellow technicians
