About the Role
As a Critical Systems Technician III, Switchgear with CPG in Phoenix, AZ, you will act as a lead technician supporting the electrical services and maintenance programs CPG delivers under contract. Day to day, you will help safeguard the reliability of mission-critical power infrastructure while ensuring that every contractual commitment is met. This position blends technical execution with on-site leadership, making your switchgear expertise central to the performance of the systems our clients depend on.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technician for CPG's mission-critical electrical services and scheduled maintenance activities performed under contract.
- Monitor and verify that work consistently aligns with all contractual obligations and service commitments.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on the installation, operation, and upkeep of switchgear and related critical electrical systems.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective work to maintain uptime across mission-critical environments.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members to raise the overall standard of service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience working with switchgear and mission-critical electrical systems, consistent with a Level III technician role.
- Solid working knowledge of the installation, maintenance, and operation of critical power equipment.
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and meeting contractual requirements.
- The ability to provide leadership and technical direction on-site in Phoenix, AZ.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
