PRISM Vision Group is seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team in the US and play a critical role in ensuring providers are accurately enrolled and credentialed across all relevant payer systems.
About the Role
As a Credentialing Specialist at PRISM Vision Group, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of provider credentialing and payer enrollment. This full-time, on-site position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes ownership of accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain current and accurate provider data within CAQH, CredentialStream, and other credentialing and payer enrollment platforms
- Collaborate with providers, internal teams, and colleagues to gather the documentation needed for smooth and timely provider onboarding
- Prepare, submit, and thoroughly document credentialing applications while proactively monitoring status and following up to ensure completion
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for credentialing inquiries across departments
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps in provider information to maintain compliance with payer requirements
Qualifications
- Prior experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, or a related administrative role
- Familiarity with credentialing tools such as CAQH and CredentialStream
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple providers and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with providers and internal stakeholders
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
