The Creative Strategist owns the day-to-day creative thinking on multiple accounts, concepting, scripting, and building creative frameworks. They bridge media buying and creative execution, translating performance insights into actionable creative direction and communicating directly with clients.
Requirements
- Write clear, actionable creative briefs
- Concept, script, and build creative frameworks for multiple client accounts
- Develop hooks, ideas, and test concepts grounded in performance data
- Conduct asset-level creative analysis
- Monitor key creative metrics
- Maintain creative velocity
- Own a structured testing methodology
- Translate performance data from Growth into creative direction
- Partner with Paid Social and Paid Search Managers
- Work closely with designers, motion artists, and video editors
- Own creative communication on your accounts
- Present upcoming rounds, explain strategic thinking, and walk clients through testing plans and results
- Field client feedback in real time
- Manage creative timelines and expectations with the client
- Regularly mine the Meta Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center, and competitor channels for inspiration and competitive intelligence
- Study channel trends, platform changes, and emerging formats
- Use AI for audience research, competitive intelligence, and trend analysis
