About the Role

As a Cook with Oaks Senior Living in Stockbridge, you'll play a central part in our dining program, preparing and serving meals that meet both federal and state food-service standards and the dietary guidelines set by Oaks Senior Living. This is an on-site, full-time position in Henry County, ideal for someone who thrives in a resident-focused community kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals following Oaks Senior Living dietary policies and approved menus.
• Handle all food in line with applicable federal and state regulations and sanitation standards.
• Keep dining service and food-preparation areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, properly rotating stock, and storing products to maintain freshness and safety.
• Support a positive, welcoming dining experience for residents at every meal.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation or cooking, preferably within a senior living, healthcare, or institutional setting.
• Working knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.
• Familiarity with following dietary guidelines and portion standards.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule in Stockbridge, Henry County.
