We are seeking an experienced professional to lead transformational financial strategy engagements with middle-market clients across the region and beyond. About This Position This is a full-time Consulting Partner role that combines strategic advisory with hands-on financial leadership. You will lead client engagements in the Strategic Finance and FP&A space, guiding decision-makers through financial transformation, capital strategy, and performance optimization. Your work will span financial planning, analysis, modeling, and strategic advice that directly shapes how clients operate and compete. At RSM, we partner with organizations to build financial functions that unlock growth and resilience. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Strategic Finance and FP&A consulting engagements for middle-market clients Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to inform business strategy Design and implement financial planning processes, dashboards, and performance metrics Partner with C-suite and finance teams to build capabilities in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Conduct financial due diligence and provide strategic recommendations on M&A, capital allocation, and business restructuring Mentor junior consultants and foster a collaborative team environment Build and maintain strong client relationships through trusted advisory and business development Who We're Looking For 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial planning, or related consulting roles Proven track record advising middle-market companies on financial strategy and transformation Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and business analysis methodologies Demonstrated leadership capability with ability to manage engagements and mentor others Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial complexity for diverse audiences Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred) CPA, CFA, or similar professional credential a plus Willingness to travel as required for client engagements About the Company RSM is a premier professional services firm specializing in audit, tax, and consulting for the middle market.
