Mercor is seeking a Consulting Actuary to work as an Insurance AI Specialist, reviewing and evaluating AI-generated outputs, annotating and labeling data, and collaborating with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience at an insurance carrier, brokerage, reinsurer, or regulatory body
- Background in underwriting, claims management, actuarial science, insurance sales, compliance, or risk management
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate insurance workflows into structured evaluation tasks
- Clear written communication and attention to detail
- Professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, FCAS, FSA, AIC (preferred)
