MEDA is seeking four national gender equality consultants to support the implementation of the RIZAO project in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Benin. The consultants will work part-time from 2026 to 2029 to provide technical support and conduct gender analyses, support IPs in integrating gender practices, develop training modules, and carry out field visits.

Requirements

  • Conduct gender analysis on the rice production chain for each country at the cluster level
  • Support IPs in integrating and capitalizing gender practices from the project
  • Develop training/capacity-building support and modules on gender issues
  • Support development and implementation of a strategy for durable access to quality agricultural land for young rice farmers
  • Carry out field visits to support and follow up on the implementation of the gender action plan
