Construction Manager

About the Role

You'll manage construction operations for transmission line and substation projects, directing teams through planning, execution, and completion phases. This leadership position puts you at the center of delivering utility-scale power infrastructure, with direct accountability for schedule, budget, safety, and quality across complex, technical builds.

What You'll Do

• Direct field construction activities for transmission line and substation projects ranging up to 500 kV
• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless project flow
• Manage contractor and labor resources, maintaining productivity and safety standards
• Track project schedules, budgets, and material logistics to keep work on time and within cost
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements
• Communicate project status and challenges to stakeholders and leadership
• Identify and resolve construction obstacles with quick problem-solving and technical judgment

What We're Looking For

• Proven construction management experience, preferably in electrical infrastructure, transmission, or substation work
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and industry standards
• Demonstrated leadership and coordination of teams and multiple contractors
• Proficiency with scheduling software, budget tracking, and project management tools
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and understand electrical systems
• Excellent communication skills and professional presence with clients and team members
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as project demands require
