About the Role

As a Clean Room Technician I at Standard Calibrations, you will work hands-on within a clean laboratory setting in Chesapeake, applying technical knowledge of fluid and gas handling components to keep critical systems safe, accurate, and compliant. This is an entry-level technical position ideal for detail-driven individuals who enjoy methodical, standards-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply working knowledge of hoses, piping, valves, gauges, and relief valves as they relate to oxygen-rich environments.
• Clean components and complete systems to the prescribed cleanliness standards required for safe operation.
• Maintain the certifications and qualifications needed to perform clean room cleaning procedures.
• Select and follow the correct measurement procedures when calibrating items inside the clean laboratory.
• Carry out corrective actions to address out-of-tolerance conditions and keep equipment within specification.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with hoses, piping, valves, gauges, relief valves, and related hardware used in oxygen service applications.
• Understanding of, or willingness to learn, component cleaning to defined cleanliness standards.
• Ability to obtain and keep current the qualifications required for clean room cleaning tasks.
• Comfort applying calibration and measurement procedures with precision and consistency.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the discipline to follow documented standards.
