About the Role As a Child Welfare Caseworker within the Asian Family Services division, you will provide direct support to children and families navigating the child welfare system. Working out of our Lower East Side, Manhattan location, you will help safeguard the well-being of young people while connecting families with the resources and services they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of children and families, conducting assessments and developing individualized service plans. Carry out home visits to evaluate family circumstances, safety, and ongoing needs. Link families to community programs, benefits, and supportive services across CPC's network. Maintain accurate, timely case records and required documentation. Coordinate with schools, agencies, and other partners to advocate for each family's best interests. Deliver culturally and linguistically sensitive support to Chinese American, immigrant, and low-income clients. Qualifications A background in social work, human services, or a related field. Experience in child welfare, case management, or family services is valued. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. Sensitivity to the needs of diverse immigrant and low-income communities; bilingual ability in Chinese languages is an asset.
