About the Role

As Chief, Security Services, you serve as the senior leader accountable for the Security Services team delivering armed protective coverage at Arnold AFB. The position carries full ownership of the people side of the operation — from recruiting and onboarding through performance management — while ensuring guard activities meet rigorous security expectations. A current security clearance is required for this position based in Tullahoma, Coffee County.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Security Services personnel providing armed guard coverage to Arnold Air Force Base.
• Direct, assign, and schedule both wage and non-wage staff carrying out a range of armed guard duties.
• Lead the complete personnel lifecycle, including hiring, training, and developing team members.
• Evaluate the performance of subordinates and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Initiate and administer disciplinary measures when circumstances call for them.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date personnel records for the security workforce.

Qualifications

• Active security clearance, as required for work supporting Arnold AFB.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience managing security or armed guard personnel.
• Strong command of personnel management practices, including hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline.
• Solid organizational skills for maintaining records and coordinating staffing across shifts.
• Availability for full-time, on-site work in Tullahoma, Coffee County.
