About the Role
As a CDL-A Truck Driver with Riverside Transport, you will transport dry van, refrigerated, and specialized freight throughout regional and OTR routes. You will operate newer, well-kept tractors equipped with modern safety systems and electronic logging devices, giving you reliable tools to do the job right every mile.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver dry van, reefer, and specialized loads safely and on schedule
- Complete detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm equipment is road-ready
- Operate late-model trucks fitted with advanced safety and ELD technology
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA rules, hours-of-service requirements, and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs and communicate clearly with dispatch throughout each haul
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Experience handling dry van, refrigerated, or specialized freight on regional and OTR lanes
- Strong commitment to safe driving and full DOT/FMCSA compliance
- Dependable, detail-oriented approach to inspections and timely deliveries
- Willingness to run regional and over-the-road routes based out of Royerton, Delaware County
