About the Role
As a CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver based out of The Dalles, you'll run regional western miles hauling flatbed freight for Leavitts. This is a full-time position built around a predictable rhythm: steady regional routes paired with regular resets, so you can earn well without sacrificing your time at home. Drivers are home every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CDL Class A flatbed tractor-trailer safely across regional western routes
- Properly load, secure, tarp, and unload flatbed freight in line with safety and DOT standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate driving logs
- Maintain on-time deliveries while protecting cargo and equipment
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and represent Leavitts professionally on the road
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license in good standing
- Experience with or willingness to handle flatbed loading and securement
- Clean, safety-focused driving record
- Ability to meet DOT physical and regulatory requirements
- Reliable, self-directed work ethic suited to regional driving
Pay & Schedule
- Earn up to $94,000 per year*
- 70 CPM base, plus accessorial and loyalty pay*
- Regional routes with regular resets and home time every other weekend
