This course examines the changing nature of deviance in the online world, introducing students to functional definitions of cybercrime, the growing typology of cybercrimes, and socio-legal responses.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree
- MA in Criminology or a cognate discipline (e.g. sociology/psychology) with a focus on crime or deviance
- Work experience in the field is an asset, as is prior teaching experience
- MEd/EdD will not be considered to meet the minimum educational requirement without specialized graduate training in crime/deviance
- PhD or ABD preferred
