Case Aide – Prevention Program

Cardinal McCloskey Community Services is hiring a full-time Case Aide for our Prevention Program, supporting at-risk children and families across the High Bridge and Morrisania neighborhoods of the Bronx. About the Role

As a Case Aide within our Prevention Program, you will work alongside caseworkers and family-support staff to deliver community-based services that keep children safe and families stable. This is a hands-on, in-person position based in the Bronx, ideal for someone who is patient, organized, and genuinely committed to family well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist caseworkers with day-to-day support for families enrolled in the Prevention Program.
• Accompany and transport clients to appointments, services, and program activities as needed.
• Help families connect with community resources, benefits, and support systems.
• Maintain accurate case notes, records, and documentation in line with agency standards.
• Conduct home visits and observe family interactions to support case planning.
• Communicate respectfully and consistently with families, colleagues, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Sincere commitment to protecting children and empowering families in challenging circumstances.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
• Dependability, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfort working in the field throughout the High Bridge and Morrisania communities.
• Ability to keep organized records and follow program procedures.
• Bilingual ability and prior human-services experience are helpful but not required.
