About the Role
As a Caregiver with Amada Senior Care NorthShore, you will be a trusted daily presence for clients across the North Chicago and Lake Bluff area. This is an in-person, full-time position focused on assisting individuals with the routines of everyday life while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. You will build genuine relationships with the people you serve and become an essential part of their support network.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Offer warm companionship and steady emotional encouragement throughout each visit.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Help with everyday living tasks to keep clients comfortable and secure at home.
- Monitor each individual's well-being and communicate any concerns to the care team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of hands-on caregiving experience is required.
- A patient, kind, and dependable approach to supporting older adults.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide attentive, respectful care.
- Reliable availability for a full-time schedule in the North Chicago, IL area.
