About the Role

As a Caregiver with Avid Health at Home Illinois, you will be a trusted daily presence for clients across the Lower West Side, Chicago. This full-time, on-site position centers on personal, attentive care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for the people you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients in taking their prescribed medications on schedule.
• Aid with walking, movement, and mobility both at home and during outings such as medical appointments or short walks.
• Provide respectful assistance with personal care, grooming, and hygiene.
• Guide clients through prescribed physical therapy exercises.
• Help plan and prepare nutritious meals, involving clients in the process whenever they are able.
• Handle grocery shopping on a client's behalf or accompany them on errands.
• Carry out related light household and caregiving duties that keep clients safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to caring for older adults and individuals who need in-home support.
• Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility, transfers, and everyday tasks.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Lower West Side, Chicago.
• Availability for full-time hours.
