This full-time role bridges Prior Authorization operations, engineering teams, and automation partners to architect scalable workflow solutions and ensure technology investments align with real operational needs. About the Role This analyst position sits at the intersection of operations and technology, focusing on workflow optimization rather than direct Prior Authorization processing. You'll partner with operational leaders and technical teams to architect business requirements, manage system evaluations, document workflows, and shepherd technology initiatives from concept through deployment. Your core mission: translate operational complexity into clear technical direction and translate technical constraints back into business language. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Act as the central liaison between Prior Authorization operations, engineering, automation vendors, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across all initiatives Elicit and document business requirements from operational teams, identifying current workflow gaps and future-state opportunities Create comprehensive process documentation using workflow diagrams, decision trees, and system maps Evaluate enhancement requests to assess necessity, feasibility, scalability, and potential upstream or downstream impacts Manage intake and prioritization of technology requests to prevent redundant or incomplete work from reaching engineering Oversee Jira ticket lifecycles, tracking progress and communicating status to stakeholders Lead user acceptance testing, identify issues, validate builds against original requirements, and support go-live readiness Support troubleshooting when production issues arise and partner on root-cause resolution Drive training, adoption, and operational change management following system implementations Collaborate across the Prior Authorization technology portfolio to ensure consistency and prevent workflow conflicts Who We're Looking For You bring Prior Authorization, revenue cycle, billing operations, or healthcare operations experience, with strong knowledge of prior authorization workflows in lab, diagnostics, or healthcare technology settings.
