The Business Development Manager will develop, plan and execute sales initiatives towards strategic accounts related to watermelon and melon crops, building long-term relationships and ensuring profitability and partnership.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Project Management
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the vegetable seed business
  • Advanced consultative selling skills, including negotiation and closing
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and functions
  • Strong agronomic knowledge and project management skills
  • Strong English communication skills are required
  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities effectively
  • Marketing and product management skills to position and price varieties effectively within the marketplace
  • Ability to collaborate with global colleagues on portfolio strategy and development
