We’re seeking a visionary Brand Design Lead to shape the visual identity and creative direction of one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency platforms. This role is pivotal in defining how our brand is perceived across every touchpoint—digital, physical, and beyond. You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on creativity to ensure our brand remains cohesive, innovative, and aligned with our mission to redefine finance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead Brand Strategy: Define and evolve the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels (web, app, social media, events, and more).
- Build Scalable Systems: Develop and maintain comprehensive brand design systems, including style guides, iconography, and motion design, to scale our brand across platforms.
- Drive Creative Innovation: Stay ahead of design trends and push boundaries to create a brand that feels modern, trustworthy, and forward-thinking.
- Mentor & Collaborate: Lead a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align design with business goals.
- Elevate Brand Moments: Own high-impact campaigns, events, and launches with standout creative work that resonates with our global audience.
- Balance Vision & Execution: Contribute directly to design projects while guiding strategic decisions that reflect our brand’s core values.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 8+ years of brand design experience, with a focus on building and scaling visual identities for tech/crypto/fintech companies.
- Proven leadership experience managing, mentoring, and growing design teams
- Exceptional eye for detail with a deep understanding of design trends, movements, and best practices
- Strong systems thinking, with experience building and maintaining scalable design systems
- Hands-on expertise as an individual contributor who still loves to create
- A standout portfolio that demonstrates your range, craft, and creative thinking
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Framer, and ideally Rive
- Specialization in a particular design discipline (e.g., 3D work, motion design, illustration) is a strong plus
- Someone who geeks out over the latest design tools, techniques, and creative possibilities
- Crypto or fintech experience is a bonus, but not essential—we value design talent above all
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT
- You’re equally comfortable leading strategy and diving into the craft
- You have a passion for pushing creative boundaries and aren’t afraid to challenge conventions
- You’re a natural mentor who elevates the work of everyone around you
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities
- You bring energy, curiosity, and a genuine love for great design
