Center for Transportation Safety is seeking experienced, bilingual CDL A professionals to join a short-term, seasonal effort dedicated to advancing safety in agricultural transport across the US.
About the Role
The Bilingual CDL A Trainer-Seasonal is a hands-on, one-week assignment with Center for Transportation Safety. In this US-based, full-time seasonal role, you will work directly with Spanish-speaking commercial drivers as a Driver Evaluator and Trainer, helping ensure that agricultural goods move safely and reliably. This recurring annual initiative is ideal for seasoned drivers who enjoy mentoring others and reinforcing strong safety habits in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the on-road performance of commercial CDL A drivers during the project period
- Deliver on-site coaching and constructive feedback to Spanish-speaking drivers
- Champion safe driving behaviors and best practices throughout agricultural transport operations
- Support the dependable, secure delivery of agricultural products
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to guide and train drivers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience as a professional CDL A driver
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (bilingual)
- Comfortable assessing driver performance and providing one-on-one coaching
- Available for the duration of this seasonal, one-week US assignment
- Commitment to promoting safety in commercial and agricultural transport
