Cambridge Health Alliance is hiring a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Child Ambulatory Psychiatry team in Harvard Square, Middlesex County, supporting the mental health of children and families across our community. About the Role As a Behavioral Health Clinician within the Psych - Child Ambulatory department at CHA Cambridge Hospital, you will deliver compassionate, evidence-informed clinical care to young patients in an outpatient setting. This is a part-time, union-represented position (Union of Social Workers) scheduled at roughly 20 hours per week, with a hybrid structure that includes days and occasional evenings, plus in-person presence across Cambridge and Massachusetts sites as patient needs require. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and family behavioral health assessment and therapy to children in an ambulatory care environment. Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs. Coordinate care alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and the broader multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with department standards. Adapt scheduling to support patients during day and evening hours, both on-site and through hybrid arrangements. Qualifications Licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or comparable behavioral health credential in Massachusetts. Background in social work or clinical mental health, ideally with experience serving children and families. Comfort working in a collaborative, hybrid outpatient model with flexible day and evening availability. Willingness to travel to Cambridge and other Massachusetts locations for in-person care as needed.
