What You'll Do
- Serve as a primary point of contact for consumer and small business clients, handling account inquiries and everyday banking transactions with accuracy and professionalism
- Open and service checking, savings, and small business accounts while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
- Identify each customer's financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services
- Process deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and other financial transactions in compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
- Build lasting client relationships that support retention and referral growth within the Brooklyn community
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to meet team goals and deliver a consistently high standard of service
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in banking, retail financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred
- Solid understanding of consumer and small business banking products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- High attention to detail and comfort working within compliance-driven environments
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced Brooklyn branch setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus
