By interpreting macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry trends, you'll shape actionable strategies that keep portfolio performance aligned with the bank's risk appetite while partnering across lines of defense to inform decisions and strengthen mitigation of operational and compliance exposures. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring four days per week in the office, with Tampa, FL among the eligible locations (also San Antonio and Plano, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Colorado Springs, CO; and Charlotte, NC). Relocation assistance is not offered. Key Responsibilities Lead analyses that identify root causes, quantify risk, and translate findings into clear credit risk strategies that influence senior leaders. Design and execute complex financial sensitivity analyses and build the infrastructure that ensures strategies are implemented as intended. Develop and present comprehensive risk and financial reporting to support management and committee oversight, escalating credit performance concerns appropriately. Analyze internal and external scores and data to detect first-party fraud, applying expert programming and quantitative techniques. Provide thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to fellow analysts, and potentially own models and accountability for their requirements and implementation. Ensure risks tied to business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled per risk and compliance policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or four years of relevant education and/or experience. Eight years in an analytical field leading advanced analytics, risk assessments, or bank credit risk data interpretation — or an advanced degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a mathematical discipline with six years of such experience. Strong grasp of banking regulations, risk, and compliance, including FCRA, Reg B, UDAAP/UDAP, and OCC Heightened Standards and Credit Risk Guidance.
