As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for building event-driven systems and expanding the reliability of existing services. Your role involves shaping GRID's technological landscape with experienced colleagues through architectural discussions and ensuring best practices. Key Responsibilities Build greenfield mission-critical services Expand the reliability of existing services Participate in architectural discussions, providing feedback to coworkers Ensure good coding practices are followed Work closely with product stakeholders for effective communication and progress updates Requirements Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience Deep knowledge of a strongly typed language (preferably Kotlin / Go) Explicit (nullable) types, strong, minimal contracts, helpful abstractions and class hierarchies Ambition to build robust, high-quality mission-critical systems with automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD infrastructure Experience with GraphQL/REST APIs, micro-service architecture, and container/orchestration systems (preferably Docker / Kubernetes) Complexity trade-offs, fault-tolerance design knowledge Familiarity with JIRA, Agile, and Scrum methodologies Good communication skills, especially when working in a remote team environment Attention to detail CET time zone work ability Nice to have: Production experience with designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs, knowledge of eSports and gaming, and the ability to work CET time zone.
