About the Role
As an Automotive Customer Service Advisor at Pep Boys in Pittsburgh, you'll help fuel growth across every part of the business. Working at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register, you'll pair genuine customer engagement with strong product and service expertise to deliver a smooth, reliable experience from the first hello to the final follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers both over the phone and in person at the store.
- Engage customers warmly, understand their needs, and recommend the right automotive products and services.
- Apply expert knowledge of products and services to answer questions and build customer confidence.
- Support sales across all lines of business at the service desk, on the sales floor, and at the register.
- Follow up and follow through to ensure every customer leaves satisfied and likely to return.
Qualifications
- A customer-first mindset with friendly, clear communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail and service environment.
- Interest in or familiarity with automotive products and services.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to thorough follow-through.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County (this role is not remote).
