AssistRx is hiring a full-time Audit Specialist (Document Management) in the United States to help safeguard the integrity of our compliance documentation and protect the privacy of patient and customer data. About the Role As an Audit Specialist (Document Management) at AssistRx, you will support the Compliance function in confirming that the right controls and safeguards are in place to uphold applicable federal and state laws, evaluate organizational risk, and keep sensitive healthcare data secure. This on-site, full-time position based in the United States partners closely with the Compliance Manager and cross-functional teams to keep critical documents accurate, current, and audit-ready. Key Responsibilities Support the Compliance Manager with internal reviews, research, and audits that confirm adherence to government regulations, client requirements, accreditations, audit frameworks, and internal policies. Handle day-to-day operations of the Document Management System (DMS) and Learning Management System (LMS). Perform document control tasks including tracking, processing, reviewing, formatting, distributing, and archiving records. Proofread, evaluate document organization, and apply quality checks before finalization, coordinating revisions within required timeframes. Record findings and organize data to surface potential risk areas, while staying current on healthcare and pharmaceutical regulatory changes. Assist with third-party audit reviews and verify compliance with insurer rules, Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and related regulations. Contribute to Incident Management, CAPA processes, enterprise-wide risk assessments, and resolution of compliance or privacy concerns. Maintain Compliance and Privacy logs and help prepare and deliver training materials through varied methods. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and training, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. CHC or other relevant compliance certifications preferred. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio); experience with Jira Service Desk is a plus. Outstanding written and verbal communication, sharp attention to detail, and strong proofreading skills. Advanced problem-solving and decision-making ability, with a talent for planning milestones and prioritizing a busy workload.
