- As anAU RTO Student Success Coach, you’ll be the trusted guide helping students navigate their studies from enrolment through to completion. Part coach, part advocate, and part accountability partner, you’ll build meaningful relationships that keep students motivated, engaged, and progressing toward their goals.

- Manage a portfolio of enrolled students and serve as their primary point of contact.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with students throughout their learning journey.
- Deliver support through inbound and outbound student communications.
- Respond to student enquiries accurately and professionally.
- Monitor student engagement, progression, and academic performance.
- Identify students at risk of non-completion and implement proactive support strategies.
- Resolve student concerns and grievances with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with Careers, Training, Education, and Learning teams.
- Maintain accurate records across CRM, LMS, and student management systems.
- Support student retention, engagement, and progression outcomes.
- Ensure compliance, quality, and administrative standards are maintained.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance student success.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in student support, student success, account management, and the like.
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs and performance targets.
- Strong administration and data management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with CRM platforms, LMS platforms, and student management systems.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify issues proactively and take ownership of solutions.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience within an Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO).
- Experience within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
- Previous experience supporting student engagement, retention, or progression initiatives.
