Responsibilities Lead and supervise the operations team, setting clear performance goals, holding staff accountable for results, and investing in employee growth and development Own financial accountability including P&L analysis, budget forecasting, and quarterly business performance reviews with key customers Manage complex international shipment workflows including regulatory compliance for imports and exports, bill of lading documentation, commercial invoicing, and certificate of origin processing Execute customer onboarding for international services, configuring systems, establishing operational metrics, and guiding clients through implementation and user acceptance testing Coordinate offshore team operations using follow-the-sun management to maintain continuous service coverage Build and refine standard operating procedures, implementing process improvements across all customer operations Identify operational risks early, communicate proactively with customers about challenges, and execute solutions that improve service delivery Expand business growth by marketing additional freight lanes, transportation modes, and identifying new customer opportunities What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED minimum 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related operations Willingness to travel 25% of the time for customer meetings and operations oversight Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or logistics preferred, or 5+ years of direct transportation experience 2+ years supervising teams in international ocean or air freight operations Proficiency with transportation management systems, preferably CargoWise Solid understanding of U.S. import/export regulations and international shipping documentation Working knowledge of hazardous materials and specialized transportation services Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications Why Join…
