About the Role As an Associate IAM Specialist based in our Barcelona office, you'll join N26's Internal IT team, the group responsible for building a secure, compliant-by-design workplace where every employee can access the tools they need quickly and safely. Our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team handles user onboarding and offboarding, account administration, and the granting and removal of access across our systems — all while reducing manual effort through smart automation as the company scales. You'll learn the core principles and day-to-day operations of the identity function, working alongside Engineering, Security, and Product colleagues and benefiting from hands-on mentorship from senior team members as you carry out established procedures with guidance. Key Responsibilities Monitor the access request queue and resolve standard tickets according to priority. Help employees troubleshoot routine access issues, escalating more complex cases when needed. Process daily identity and access management requests accurately and on time. Support IT onboarding by assisting with account setup and initial access for new hires. Run routine IAM controls to uphold data integrity and regulatory compliance. Pick up foundational IT Support tasks, since Support and IAM Operations share a team. Contribute to IT documentation, including support guides and process manuals. Assist with audits by gathering the required data and supporting evidence. Qualifications 0–2 years in IAM, IT helpdesk, or a similar technical support position. Hands-on use of ticket-based workflow systems, ideally Jira and other Atlassian tools. Familiarity with cloud office suites, particularly Google Workspace / GSuite Admin. Exposure to — or strong motivation to learn — IAM platforms such as Okta. Grounding in authentication, authorisation, and role-based access control concepts. Awareness of protocols like SAML, SCIM, OAuth, or OIDC is a plus.
