The Charles River Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Program Director, Residential (3813) to help lead a thriving residential program in the United States. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about supporting individuals through high-quality, person-centered care.
About the Role
As an Assistant Program Director, Residential at the Charles River Center, you will partner with one or more Program Directors to keep daily operations running smoothly and effectively across the residential program. You will be a key presence during shifts, guiding staff, championing best practices, and helping ensure that every individual receives consistent, dignified support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assigned Program Director(s) in managing the efficient, day-to-day operations of the residential program.
- Supervise, coach, and support direct care staff throughout scheduled shifts.
- Deliver and coordinate staff training to maintain strong service standards.
- Oversee the accurate implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for each participant.
- Help maintain daily activity schedules and program menus.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for both individuals served and team members.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a residential, human services, or disability support setting.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership ability.
- Familiarity with Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and person-centered care practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability for a full-time, on-site schedule, including coverage across program shifts.
