Assistant Principal

ICEF Public Schools is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Assistant Principal to join our leadership team at our La Tijera campus in Los Angeles County, California — a full-time, on-site role for an educator ready to shape student success.

About the Role

As Assistant Principal at ICEF Public Schools, you will partner directly with the Principal to lead instructional excellence, support a high-performing teaching staff, and help cultivate a school culture where every student thrives. This is a certificated, exempt position based in La Tijera, Los Angeles County, on a 12-month pay cycle reporting to the Principal, with teachers as direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal to drive academic vision, instructional quality, and measurable student outcomes
• Supervise, coach, and develop classroom teachers to strengthen teaching practice
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment across the campus
• Support day-to-day school operations and contribute to schoolwide planning and improvement
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff to advance the school community

Qualifications

• A valid certificated credential appropriate for school administration
• Proven experience in education and instructional leadership
• Strong skills in coaching, supervising, and developing teaching teams
• A genuine commitment to equity and the academic achievement of all learners
• Effective communication and organizational abilities suited to a busy school setting

Compensation & Benefits

This role offers a salary starting at $100,000, commensurate with experience. Full-time employees of ICEF Public Schools are eligible for medical, dental, and vision plans, life insurance, and additional benefits.
