Assistant General Manager

Riser Fitness is hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager at its boutique fitness studio in Osseo, Hennepin County — a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of operations, member experience, and team development.

About the Role

As Assistant General Manager, you will partner closely with the General Manager to run the day-to-day operations of a high-energy Club Pilates studio. You are the connective tissue between the front-line team and studio leadership — coaching staff, driving membership growth, and ensuring every member interaction reflects the Riser Fitness standard of care.

What You'll Do

• Support studio operations including scheduling, inventory, and facility readiness
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales associates and front-desk staff
• Engage with current and prospective members to drive new membership sales and reduce attrition
• Handle member concerns with professionalism and a service-first mindset
• Monitor key performance indicators and help the team hit monthly membership and revenue targets
• Execute local marketing and community outreach initiatives
• Open and close the studio and manage daily administrative tasks
• Step into the General Manager role as needed during absences

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience in fitness, retail, or hospitality management — boutique fitness a strong plus
• Proven ability to lead a team and hold people accountable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sales skills with a consultative, relationship-driven approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you thrive talking to people
• Comfort working with CRM or studio management software
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as studio needs require
• Genuine enthusiasm for health, wellness, and helping members reach their goals
