What You'll Do Develop and execute coordinated marketing campaigns that strengthen alumni engagement and donor relationships Create compelling communications content including newsletters, email campaigns, social media posts, and donor appeals Plan and promote annual giving initiatives, donor recognition events, and alumni gatherings Manage alumni databases and CRM systems, ensuring accurate records and effective segmentation Collaborate with institutional advancement colleagues to align marketing messaging with fundraising priorities Analyze campaign performance, track metrics, and report on outcomes to leadership Support donor stewardship efforts and special initiatives that strengthen college relationships What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, development, or related field Proven experience in nonprofit marketing, alumni relations, or institutional advancement Exceptional writing and editing skills with ability to adapt tone across audiences Proficiency with marketing platforms, CRM software, and donor management systems Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives Passion for higher education and building meaningful alumni connections About Ferrum College Ferrum College is a private liberal arts institution dedicated to developing engaged citizens and leaders through transformative education and strong community partnerships.
