Assistant Designer

About the Role

As an Assistant Designer at Hybrid Promtions Llc, you will support the design team throughout the apparel creation process — from early concept exploration to production-ready artwork. Working closely with senior designers and merchandisers in our Cypress, Orange County studio, you'll help bring branded and licensed product lines to life while sharpening your craft in a fast-moving, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers in developing original graphics, prints, and apparel concepts
• Prepare and refine artwork files for sampling, approval, and production
• Build mood boards, trend research, and design presentations to support collections
• Collaborate with merchandising, development, and production teams to keep projects on schedule
• Help maintain organized design libraries, color references, and product specs
• Incorporate feedback quickly while ensuring brand and licensing guidelines are met

Qualifications

• A background or growing portfolio in apparel, graphic, or textile design
• Proficiency with industry design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• A strong eye for color, typography, layout, and emerging fashion trends
• Detail-oriented organization and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
• A collaborative, eager-to-learn attitude and openness to creative direction
• Availability to work full-time, on-site in Cypress, Orange County
