Role Overview As Architecte Système - Appui Feu et Combat Collaboratif F/H with Thales in Gennevilliers, you will take ownership of end-to-end system architecture definition for fire support and collaborative combat solutions. Working full time on site in Gennevilliers, the position focuses on translating high-level operational needs into coherent, integrated technical frameworks while guiding multidisciplinary stakeholders through the entire development lifecycle. The role centres on ensuring that architectures remain scalable, resilient and aligned with evolving mission requirements. Responsibilities Establish and evolve the reference system architecture covering fire support and collaborative combat functionalities Analyse operational and technical requirements, allocating them across hardware, software and network layers Lead model-based system engineering activities and maintain architectural views using standard modelling techniques Coordinate subsystem integration so that sensors, effectors and communication elements operate seamlessly together Evaluate design trade-offs for performance, safety, reliability and interoperability Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and validation campaigns throughout the programme Produce clear architectural documentation and communicate technical decisions to project teams and leadership Support configuration management and change-control processes for the Architecte Système - Appui Feu et Combat Collaboratif F/H scope of work What You Bring Solid background in systems architecture for complex technical solutions, ideally with exposure to fire support or collaborative combat domains Mastery of systems engineering methods, including model-based approaches and relevant modelling languages or tools Ability to decompose high-level needs into implementable subsystem interfaces and data flows Strong analytical skills for assessing performance trade-offs and resolving integration issues Proven capacity to work collaboratively with specialist engineering disciplines on site in Gennevilliers Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting architecture decisions Engineering qualification at degree level or equivalent professional experience in systems engineering Commitment to continuous learning and delivering high-quality architectural artefacts for Thales programmes More About Thales Thales is hiring for this role and offers a supportive team environment where the Architecte Système -…
