About the Role Fluidstack is deploying frontier AI compute infrastructure at unprecedented scale and speed. As Architect, Deployment Engineering, you'll guide each facility from final design approval through successful operations launch, managing the permitting, construction oversight, and commissioning work that sits between architectural planning and day-one reliability. You'll capture lessons from each deployment to accelerate and refine the next—building a repeatable playbook that lets us scale efficiently and safely across dozens of sites. Oversee the submittal and request-for-information (RFI) process during active construction, coordinating between the engineer of record, contractors, and internal teams to resolve field conflicts without creating delays. Enforce FM Global envelope and fire-safety standards throughout all contractor-driven construction phases, tracking and closing compliance gaps prior to project acceptance and operations handoff. Own final inspections, punch-list closure, and close-out documentation at each site, translating field observations into updated deployment standards that benefit future projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Demonstrated experience serving as an owner's representative or developer-side architect on data center, mission-critical infrastructure, or large-scale industrial construction projects, with direct accountability through substantial completion and final occupancy. Solid understanding of building codes (International Building Code and International Fire Code), occupancy classification, egress design, and fire-rated assembly construction, with ability to resolve code interpretation questions directly with building officials. Hands-on experience managing RFI and submittal workflows on active construction sites, coordinating multiple stakeholders while working under aggressive timelines and schedule pressure. Track record of maintaining FM Global envelope and life-safety compliance requirements across contractor-managed construction phases. Capacity and willingness to travel extensively (50% or more) to…
