Air Systems, Inc. is hiring a full-time Construction Project Manager in San Jose, Santa Clara County, to take ownership of complex mechanical and building construction projects from kickoff through completion as part of EMCOR Group Inc.

About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager based on-site in San Jose, you will direct HVAC, plumbing, architectural sheet metal, and process piping projects spanning the commercial and industrial sectors. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives on coordinating teams, schedules, and budgets while delivering high-quality single-source facility solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee mechanical and building construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, architectural sheet metal, and process piping scopes across commercial and industrial environments.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Track costs, review submittals, and maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Uphold safety, quality, and code compliance standards throughout every phase of construction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing mechanical, electrical, or building construction projects.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication, and process piping systems.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and budgeting skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities at once.
• Effective communication and team-coordination abilities across field and office staff.
• Willingness to work on-site in the San Jose, Santa Clara County area (this role is not remote).
