The AI Deployment Engineering team works closely with frontier startups to deploy OpenAI‘s technology safely and effectively. This role is for a technically proficient, product-minded engineer to help push the frontier of advanced AI with our strategic startup customers.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering & AI fundamentals
- Experience shipping production systems end-to-end
- Experience as a technical founder, or engineer at an early stage startup
- Familiarity with model training pipelines and reinforcement learning
- Experience building AI applications, agents, or evaluation systems
- Ability to reason clearly about model behavior in complex workflows
- Communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
