After School Teacher

Fayette Early Learning Academy is hiring a full-time After School Teacher at its Peachtree City, Fayette County location to lead and nurture a mixed group of 3- to 5-year-old children through an engaging, structured afternoon program.

About the Role

As an After School Teacher, you'll be the heart of the afternoon experience for preschool-age children, guiding them through purposeful play, early learning activities, and the kind of warm, consistent care that builds school readiness. Your day runs from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM, with program preparation beginning before children arrive for afterschool at approximately 2:35–2:40 PM.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver age-appropriate activities that blend learning with fun for children ages 3–5
• Set up and organize the classroom environment before the afterschool session begins each afternoon
• Foster curiosity, creativity, and early academic skills through hands-on, play-based instruction
• Support children's social and emotional development in a safe, nurturing setting
• Supervise children attentively throughout the full afternoon program
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming classroom space
• Build positive relationships with students and communicate clearly with families

What We're Looking For

• Genuine enthusiasm for working with preschool-age children (ages 3–5)
• Ability to plan and facilitate structured, educational activities that hold young learners' attention
• Patience, reliability, and strong classroom management instincts
• Clear, warm communication skills with both children and caregivers
• Ability to pass a required background check prior to employment
