Account Rep Dock Door

Crown Equipment Corporation is hiring a full-time Account Rep – Dock Door based in Saint Paul, MN (Ramsey County), bringing its industry-leading material handling solutions to local businesses across the Twin Cities region.

About the Role

As an Account Rep – Dock Door in Saint Paul, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking dock door equipment and related material handling solutions. This is an outside sales role rooted in building lasting client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering the kind of responsive, local service that sets Crown Equipment apart from national competitors.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow an assigned territory of commercial and industrial accounts in the Saint Paul and Ramsey County area
• Prospect for new customers by cold calling, networking, and following up on leads within the dock door and warehouse equipment space
• Conduct on-site assessments to understand each customer's dock operations and recommend the right Crown equipment solutions
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to each account's needs
• Coordinate with Crown's internal service and support teams to ensure smooth delivery, installation, and ongoing customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline status, and account history using company systems
• Stay current on Crown's full product lineup as well as industry trends in dock door and material handling technology

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success in outside or territory sales, ideally within industrial equipment, material handling, or related B2B fields
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills with the ability to engage both frontline operations staff and decision-makers
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a geographic territory independently
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn technical product details
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular customer visits throughout Ramsey County and surrounding areas
• Experience with CRM tools and standard business software preferred
