About the Role As Account Manager – VMS at Sensata Technologies in Germany, you will own day-to-day account management across the EMEA region, protecting existing revenue while uncovering fresh opportunities with current and prospective customers. Success means combining value-based selling with strong relationship building to accelerate growth and elevate the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts across EMEA, conducting in-person meetings to retain business, win new customers, and advance overall sales targets. Represent Sensata Technologies at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to generate qualified leads. Apply value-based selling across co-manufacturers, co-packers, remanufacturers, and exporters in the automotive aftermarket. Develop opportunities within targeted distribution channels spanning automotive, heavy duty, motorsports, alternative fuel, and marine. Identify decision-makers and cultivate lasting relationships with senior management, purchasing, engineering, and sales stakeholders. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, retention, and pipeline performance, then relay Voice of the Customer insights to internal teams. Keep Salesforce CRM current, negotiate contracts within company guidelines, and ensure both parties honor service agreements. Build presentations, reports, and account analyses, and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and budgeting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant account management or sales experience; automotive aftermarket exposure is an advantage. Demonstrated record of strong sales results and relationship building within a fast-moving 3–6 month sales cycle. Self-starting, results-driven, and highly organized, with excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Skilled in value-based and relationship selling and in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Fluent in English; German, French, or Italian is a plus. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience preferred. Willing to travel up to 50%, including international trips.
